Applying for a Lawdata Mileage Check.

One form is used to access the most appropriate level of the 3-tier system.
Upon receipt of the request, Lawdata will determine which type of check is needed.
The more data that is provided the lower the cost and quicker the check becomes.

The 3-tier system is described below.

For 1 or 2 keeper vehicles with full history.	Assumes keeper details are available from V5 documents and the Lawdata Database.	For vehicles with no documents or incomplete keeper information.
Assumes availability of V5 vehicle registration document and previous keepers signed declaration of mileage.	A check confirmation document is sent within 2 days for display purposes.	A check confirmation document is sent within 2 days. 0n-Line retrieval of DVLC based keeper info.
A correct Ricochet certificate is sent to dealers within 2 days form display purposes.	A vehicle report and correct certificate (if relevant) is sent to the dealer within 2 weeks of your check request receipt.	A detailed vehicle report is sent to the dealer within 8 weeks giving keeper replies on mileage, changes of ownership dates, etc.
Special legal checks within the system protects dealers.	Monthly billing in arrears - Regular reminders to you when Lawdata detect a slowing down or Stopping of your requests.
