Lawdata has been advising clients on trading standards issues for over 20 years. |
|
Lawdata was established over twenty years ago to provide advice to the motor trade on trading standards issues, primarily the Trade Descriptions Act 1968. Over the years our legal team has successfully defended against prosecutions but more importantly assisted clients in identifying problems before they result in a prosecution. As you are probably aware, the Trade Descriptions Act makes it an offence to apply goods to which a false trade description has been applied, and/or to sell or offer to sell goods to which a false trade description has been applied. However what happens when everything goes wrong? |
Are you aware that a breach of the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 could leave your company directors personally open to prosecution?
Are you aware of exactly what the Trade Descriptions Act covers; how your employees could leave the directors open to prosecution and how you can prevent this happening? |
DO YOU KNOW?
